One of my favorite players ever. His inconsistent shooting and injuries derailed a long career. Politics got in the way as well because of his “street” persona and being on the laughing stock “the process” Sixers. His play making was top tier and could get to the basket at will.

I wonder what would have happened if he went the football route instead. Amazing athlete, great highlights, had some amazing skills, just not enough skills for the NBA. His best scoring move was often to miss and then follow up his own shot. The athleticism made the play.
