Kind of a pointless fix, as the arm will easily bend in the future again, unless it gets heat treated after the bending. Once the metal structure has been streched out like this, they will not simply go back to their original state with bending, they need to be reset.

When it turns into a bent drive shaft….. isn’t it better to replace it with a new one….. instead of trying to straighten it?!! What a mess.

It isn’t a drive shaft it is some type of suspension part. It is not a rotating mass. In many countries spare parts are not always available so fixing a part may be the only option. It will not be as strong as it was but it will work.
