Hopefully there’s a run like this in our near future!!

I doubt I’ll ever see a run like that again by any team. 10 consecutive OT wins in the playoffs, unreal

Thanks for sharing bro!

The hatred between these 2 teams was epic

Lyle Odelein G.O.A.T.

Beautiful 😍

DePietro and LeBeau never shined as bright as they did that spring. If the Habs had better administrative leadership they could have won more championships. Letting Roy, Desjardin, Odilen and LeClaire go was terrible management

I remember watching this At the time. It was awesome

Less overtime games with the same end result please!

There will be this year. Book it.

Let’s hope so

Great edit! The greatest championship run in any pro sport (10 of 16 wins in OT! Consecutively!), spurred by the greatest save ever (Roy’s glove save against LA), capped by the greatest and most perfect broadcast call ever, from Bob Cole. Magical.

Montreal head coach was illiterate. Its not like he is going to read this.

Who said anything about him reading anything? lol

What a trip down memory lane, thanks for this

It was a magical time in Montreal during that run. Two things that paved the way for the Habs eventual SC. BUF sweeping BOS in the 1st round and NYI beating PIT in the 2nd. I remember being on St. Catherines St after the game.

Muller -> Suzuki Damphousse -> Caufield Leclair -> Slaf Odelein -> Arber Carbonneau -> Evans (Random 3rd line hero) -> Anderson Roy -> Jake the goalie (TBD😉) Roughly speaking… more or less. The blueprint is there, and these guys seem to have the OT touch as well. 😎

Fantastic post.. @Vincent25baby was clutch AF that year.

The good old days of the NHL.
