SSP Avinash Pandey knows very well that he comes from a Brahmin caste background. He believes that even if he sets aside the Constitution and assaults a Dalit, no action will be taken against him. Before Independence, it was the Dominant Hindus who oppressed and beat Dalits, after Independence, it is the police. Uttar Pradesh is increasingly becoming a graveyard for Dalits. You cannot even raise your voice for justice without facing consequences.

A Dalit leader & state President of BSP is hacked to death in Tamilnadu and we hardly see any outrage. No self proclaimed messiahs of Dalits cried about Dalits under attack. Imagine if it was a BJP ruled state..!!!
