Horror filmmaker and actor Michael Leavy has released a new short campaigning to play the new Freddy Krueger He previously played a younger version of Robert Englund's character in 2014's horror movie Fear Clinic

@Leavs16 For me anyone who doesn't look exactly like Robert Englund is just an imitation, but good effort to Michael for putting this together, he does an excellent job with the Freddy mannerisms - and if you look him up he does have a similar face structure

@Leavs16 Nothing wrong with it, but doing it as an impersonation of Englund is just asking for failure because we already have eight movies with the real thing. It needs to be completely different.

@Leavs16 I'm not convinced that they could do the original 3 justice. He nailed the voice and he has the eyes. Needs to loose a few lbs in the face and better make up.
