To round this thread up, I really wanted to open up again with the fact looking for any opportunities in the esports space, whether it be tryouts for a team, to coaching positions, to content creation, to collaborations, to playtesting, any position really at RIOT would be so cool. This weekend showed me how awesome a career in gaming can be, seeing RIOT Campus and how passionate everyone is, outweighs the negatives that laid a dark cast over the space for me for a while and I want to try to dig my feet into this industry in anyway I can. I love eSports, I love League of Legends, I love gaming, I love meeting new people, and it's always been my #1 dream to have a job I love through and through, that's why I have worked so hard my entire life.

I've been unintentionally MIA trying to figure out what is next for me & I just wanted to share that I have retired my competitive gaming career. Although this was very difficult for me, I've found serenity in being able to close this chapter. Being a pro gamer is really the best job in the world. Don't take it for granted. When you fall in love with the craft, the dedication comes naturally and the desire to be the best never ever goes away. I spent 20 years of my life committed to this hobby that turned into the most unique experience and allowed me to live my dreams. Little did I know at the time how important this city, one I never imagined living in, has become to my life. I’ve met some of the most important people and I will love Des Moines forever. But change is inevitable and my time in Iowa is coming to an end. My last day at KCCI will be on October 14th. For the last 4.5 years I’ve been proud to work for Iowa’s news leader. Thank you to my sports team, Scott and Shannon. Getting to work with you two everyday was a joy and a blast. seungmin's ending ment 🥺❤️‍🩹 🐶: for the whole month of june, it was the worst experience for me. being separated with the members and had to focus on my recovery and rehabilitation alone, it felt so empty. even though i knew it was for the sake of joining the group, i kept wondering where i was headed. the thought of not being able to hold a mic or stand on stage was painful and it drove me crazy. i had a lot of thoughts. there are so many professions in this world but i chose to be a singer. i was lucky to join a team like skz where i've received so much love and support. i believe there are many people like me who go through difficult moments in their work, not just singers but other professions. but i hope you don't see those times as meaningless. instead, think of them as a time to grow stronger and influencing others in positive ways. for me as well, in order to sing for a long time and being able to dance and run around with the members for a long time and bring happiness and comfort to many people through music as the 7th member of skz. i need to focus on my rehabilitation and do my best to stand on this stage again and always strive to be seungmin who gives his all. more than anything, i'm thankful to our members. also to the company staff who waited for me, thank you so much. and once again, sincerely thank you so much to all the fans who filled this venue!
