“With a father’s pride” Former hostage Alon Ohel recounts how in captivity, fellow hostage Eli Sharabi supported him as a father figure. Eli also told Alon all about his beloved daughters, Yahel and Noiya. Alon chokes up as he remembers, no doubt thinking of how Eli learned only after his release that his family, including his young daughters, was murdered on October 7th. The hostages understand each others’ pain as no one else can. We all have a responsibility to bear witness to the horrors they endured.

Peter Obi had already called for the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu as far back as last year. (June, 2024). He described his continued detention as illegal. It was even reported by Tinubu's Television. Peter Obi spoke out for Kanu when many people were not speaking. He spoke out for Kanu when it was not even convenient but he spoke! I don't understand this sudden love for Kanu by some certain people and trying to pull Obi into what I don't understand. Obi has always made his position known during the elections, which is that he will negotiate with all agitators including Kanu. The issue of Kanu was asked him in almost every interview and he maintained his position.

Lianne Sharabi, the wife of hostage Eli Sharabi who was freed yesterday from captivity, came from England to volunteer at Kibbutz Be’eri. Over the years, she chose to build her home there with her husband and together they had two wonderful daughters – Noiya and Yahel. On October 7, Hamas terrorists brutally murdered Lianne, Noiya, and Yahel and abducted Eli and his brother, Yossi, to Gaza. Yesterday, after nearly 500 days in captivity, we painfully watched Eli return from the depths of hell—beaten, starved, and weak—only to be exploited in a cynical and degrading ceremony, unaware of the cruel fate of his wife, daughters, while his brother, Yossi, was murdered in captivity, with his body still being held in Gaza. The heartbreaking story of the Sharabi family is yet another testament to the cruelty and cynicism of Hamas terrorists. In the interview, I emphasized that the entire world must stand against Hamas’s evil and barbarity and take action for the immediate release of all the hostages.

Wow this is bad. Carney had claimed at some point during his world tour recently that he had met with business leaders and CEO’s he get asked if he can tell us who they are. I guess Carney lied once again because he not only can’t name them, but he seems to not know what he even spoke about. On top of that, none of the meetings involved investment in Canada. Carney is scrambling.
