Ajahn Brahm demonstrates how easy it is to stop overthinking in 2 minutes: "The biggest problem in people's meditation is the mind which is always thinking. People keep telling me, 'I can't meditate. I'm always thinking, thinking, thinking about something, thinking about anything. I can't stop thinking.' That becomes one of the biggest obstacles to being a meditator." But he reveals the truth: "It's very easy to stop thinking. A lot of people do it quite naturally, very often. They stop thinking." He shares a demonstration: "When I am speaking, also be aware of the reaction to my words inside your mind. Don't just listen to what I'm saying, listen to what it does to you inside your mind. Because as I am speaking, if you're mindful inside a little bit, you will begin to notice something strange." Here's what he wants you to see: "Between my words, there are long gaps. In those spaces between my words, what was happening in your mind? You were silent. You were aware. But not a thought was going on in your mind." He pauses. "You can do it. And this is what it feels like. Being aware. Hearing the sounds of the birds. But without a thought going on in your head. Easy, isn't it?" He adds with a laugh: "Now just carry on for another two hours." Then he shares the real question: "Now you know what silence is and how beautiful it feels. Now we have to try and understand: why is it that we keep destroying this silence with all these thoughts? You're all old enough now to realize 99% of your thoughts are total rubbish. And I'm being quite generous."

“My name is Gammee Lolo Waaqayyo. According to the Gregorian calendar, I was born in 2007. I am an Ethiopian national, born in the Oromia region, West Arsi zone, Gadab Hasasa district, in a place called Woqeenxara. When I was 10 years old, both my mother and father passed away. Because of this, the community in my area gathered a small amount of money and bought me a motorcycle. I started working with it by myself. Since I worked between the town and the rural areas, government forces threatened me, saying I was transporting goods to the Shanee armed group in the forests. Out of fear, I fled the country when I was 15 years old and went to Sudan. I stayed in Sudan for about one year. There, I met a friend, and through him, we contacted a smuggler and came to Libya. After we entered Libya, we were placed in a warehouse. Once inside, they demanded money beyond my capacity. Because I had neither my father nor my mother, and my siblings were themselves struggling, I had no way to pay the ransom. Because of this, they subjected me to severe torture. After enduring this for a while, I fell sick and spent about one month inside. Eventually, they released me, and while traveling with my friends towards Tripoli, I was arrested by the police and taken to a detention center called Tajoura. I stayed in the detention center for two months, where I suffered greatly. After that, they released me. One Ethiopian man saw me where I was abandoned and took me to the UNHCR office. But when he brought me there, UNHCR refused to accept me. The young man also abandoned me right outside the UNHCR gate and left me there. I slept in front of the UNHCR gate for four days. After that, another young Ethiopian came to me and asked what had happened. He recorded a video of me and posted it on social media. Afterwards, some young people who knew me by face saw the video and came and took me with them. Even now, I am still in a very difficult situation. I am very sick. I am currently 18 years and 4 months old.”

🐱: Right now, I'm getting a lot of messages from people around me and also getting scolded quite a bit. About that moment when I put my hand inside my pants, I wanted to apologize and clarify things to MIDZY. 🐱: Let me sit up straight and be serious for a second 🐱: First of all, that jumpsuit was riding up way too high, and it was genuinely so uncomfortable and painful. I wasn't thinking straight at the moment, I just really needed to pull it down. But looking back at the footage myself, I agree it definitely looked like my hand went in a bit too deep. 🐱: I think I’ve gotten so comfortable around midzy lately that I completely let my guard down on stage and acted without thinking. I am so deeply sorry for that. 🐱: But seriously, it was absolutely the jumpsuit's fault! It was literally trying to split me in half, so I had no choice! Still, I know it was wrong of me to reach into my pants in public, especially on stage. That was my mistake. 🐱: Because of this, my friend made me promise to do some serious self-reflection and repeat this three times: I will never reach into my pants in public, especially on stage, ever again. 🐱: So yeah, that’s where I stand. I’m honestly so disappointed in myself for letting everyone who loves and supports me see me doing something like that. 🐱: But seriously... it really *was* the jumpsuit's fault! 😭 ...Okay, okay, but it was still my bad at the end of the day. 🐱: Next time I have to wear a jumpsuit, I’ll just bring a pair of scissors on stage with me. Just kidding… 🐱: Anyway, that’s the whole story and I just wanted to clarify things with you all.

I made over 2.5 million dollars this past week betting sports. Yes, it sounds easy. Yes, it sounds simple. But the truth is, this is the result of years of obsession, discipline, and grinding at my craft. I spent four straight years playing poker 18 hours a day. That was my entire life. Wake up, play poker, think about poker, sleep, repeat. That level of focus is how I became one of the top players in the world and made over 10 million dollars playing poker. Poker built my foundation. Discipline, risk management, emotional control, and the ability to perform under real pressure. But the reality is, there are no billionaires in poker. There are billionaires in sports betting. So I went all in on sports betting and walked away from poker completely. I took everything I learned and built this the right way. I hired the best analysts and handicappers in the world, people I met through poker, and brought them together under one operation. Because of the platform I’ve built, these guys make more money working with me than they ever could on their own. That is how I’m able to operate at an extraordinary level and consistently win at a very high rate. Winning 2.5 million dollars in a week is incredible, and I’m grateful, but I’m not satisfied. I’m constantly sharpening my edge and building something bigger. My vision is to turn this into a nine figure a year business. I truly believe I’m on the path to becoming a billionaire one day. I think back to being a kid, dreaming of being a professional gambler, having a gambling themed bar mitzvah, and looking up to my father, one of the best poker players in the world. This path has been inside me for a long time. Today, my entire life revolves around becoming the best sports bettor possible. I wake up thinking about it, go to sleep thinking about it, and live it every single day. Grateful for the journey. Let’s keep going.

What’s Nancy’s Birthday without being surrounded by Children?! Nothing! My babies at Dream Catchers Academy 🇳🇬🌍 came for a playdate at their Aunty Nancy’s home and we had the best time! Let me give you a little back story about how the decision to celebrate my birthday with Children every birthday for the past 13years came about. My 20th birthday celebration was at a Nightclub and I remember hating every bit of the experience. From running around the entire night making sure my guests arrived and were okay to worrying about if they were happy and having fun to heavy anxiety about everything because I’m an unrepentant perfectionist. The night ended with me deeply unhappy! I decided this wasn’t the way for me, but I also didn’t want to be discouraged from celebrating my birthdays. So, in my quiet time, I asked God to lay in my heart how I’ve been destined to celebrate my birthdays. God did! And God did heavilyyyyy!😅 Children! And Not just going to drop things off for them but curating my entire day around them and NEVER having a budget when God places in my heart what each birthday should be. At the time, I was already studying social works and was involved in the welfare system. Without hesitation, I said “For life Lord!” My 21st birthday at the Children’s remand home with my car boot filled with personalized goodies for the children and maybe 3friends, was the best birthday of my Life! The kids prayed specific prayers and being around them felt.. Right! I went to bed that night, HAPPY, FULFILLED and I just couldn’t stop crying tears of joy. Ever since then, I haven’t looked back, every year I’d get clear directions on what to do. If you ask me in September what my birthday plan was for the year, I’d say I don’t know not because I don’t want to tell you but because I truly do not know😅 God lays it in my heart quietly and pulls the resources, the people and the process together to work for my good. Glory! It also helps that I LOVE Children and they also LOVE me! Unconditionally! So it’s truly a match-made in heaven🥰 Thank you @seyi_oluyole for honoring my invitation. God bless you, your team and my Babies❤️ #BirthdayGirl🥰 #Nancy’sSweetest33 #NancyIsime

There's something about design that truly makes me happy. Before I was diagnosed with a complete SCI, I loved building thing with my hands and trying to make them unique and beautiful. The accident didn't just take my mobility, it robbed me of my creative drive. I didn't I would ever get that back that was up until Neuralink came into the picture. I was very serious about applying but just couldn't bring myself to do it. Then Noland Arbaugh comes into the picture and I see his video and I saw how passionate he was toward the whole ide and that was like a switch. I want to thank Noland because if I hadn't seen that video I wouldn't be typing this message with my thoughts. So the day I gained control of the device I had the guys install Autodesk Fusion and the first night I had my first part designed by BCI. I have been designing things non-stop since. Now lets talk tools and the first one is the ArcDroid it is a CNC robot that holds a plasma torch and can cut profiles in sheet metal. I have made numerous signs, letters and parts with this and i love it. I have also had the chance to help the local high school install and setup their CNC plasma table. I love being able to share my knowledge with others and show new technology to kids that want to learn. The next one everybody is more familiar with is the Bambu Lab X1C. It is my first 3D printer and I had no idea how dang handy these things were! I can go from thought, Neuralink, Fusion, X1C and poof! You have your part all in a matter of like a hour. I make everything from parts for my wheelchair or RC ✈ to toys for my nephew. These devices have completely changed my life. I now have my creative outlet back and I'm not done looking for new things to try. I'm thinking a laser next!!!😎 Thank you Elon Musk for the opportunity to showcase my skills, I'm extremely grateful🙏

Day - 18 of Ayodhya Padayathra🚩 Another day, another divine experience🥹🧡🙏🏻 I reached this temple after walking 15 kms from morning. I haven't eaten anything since morning. After reaching, i enquired whether there are any hotels nearby to eat. But I got to know that one hotel is 1 km ahead and another is half a km behind. I didn't have the energy to go. So, I came back and sat in the temple. I said, "Amma, there are no hotels nearby, you arrange food for me. If not, I'll eat the chudua which my mom gave me while starting my yatra. If you arrange some food, I'll eat it and take some rest. If not, I'll eat chudua and take rest. I'll eat something in the evening. It's upto you. I'm not that hungry either." While I was saying these lines, 2 boys (one is in 11th class and another is 9th class) entered the temple to clean it as navratri celebrations are starting tomorrow. I also cleaned the temple along with them. While we're cleaning, the younger boy went out and came back with a plate of food. I asked him why he brought the food. He said, it's for me. I asked him who asked you to bring it, for which, he didn't answer. I didn't even tell him anything about my yatra or where was I coming from or where I was going. I looked at Ammavaru with a smile on my face and ate it while having tears in my eyes, thinking I demanded ammavaru for food, yet she sent me some food with so much love 🧡🥹 I'm really lucky to experience such miracles everyday in my journey to Ayodhya. Jai Sree Ram 🙏🏻🚩 Jai mata di 🙏🏻🚩 #AyodhyaBatasari

🚨 This is Young Miko’s full confession to ROSALÍA during tonight’s Confessionário in Puerto Rico. “When I was in high school, I was always very open about my sexual orientation, but I wasn’t ready to share it with the world. When I started my first year of university, I thought, “This is my moment to shine. This is where I’m going to do it. Maybe the first girl I like will come along and I’ll have an amazing time.” It was my first time living away from home because the university I attended was far from where I grew up. I was ready to meet a girl and have everything be fantastic. There were a lot of pretty girls at university, but there was one who was basically the prettiest girl on campus. Everyone had a crush on her. One day, I went to a café inside the university, where I used to go almost every morning, and she walked in. She saw the queue and said she wasn’t going to make it to class and wouldn’t be able to get her coffee. I helped her with the queue. I saw her around university that week. She came over to thank me and we ended up exchanging numbers. We started talking and would see each other around campus sometimes. I really liked her. One day, she confessed that she had a crush on me, and I told her I had a crush on her too. Then she asked if she could take me on a date. It was the first time I had openly gotten to know a girl and also the first time a girl had asked me on a date. Obviously, I said yes. The day came. I put on my favourite shirt, bought flowers, everything was very gay. We had planned to meet that evening. We were supposed to meet at eight. By eight, I was already there waiting at the table. The waiter kept coming over and asking if I wanted the menu. And she never showed up. A couple of days later, I texted her and she didn’t reply. Then, later that same week, I saw her with another girl around the university. But the years went by, and now I’m here at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, in this confession with you, telling you the story… and she’s up there somewhere.”
