You’ll smile from ear to ear by the end…. Today was the best day in Billy’s life. We gave him a little groom and put on his favorite bandana before taking him for a walk and breaking the big news to him… Billy has a forever home With a lovely family in Singapore. 🇸🇬 It’s amazing that he is even here today… 🔪 He was badly beaten up and left to fend for himself 🧠 His beating was so bad he had brain damage 😖 Billy had severe PTSD (he didn’t stop crying for days on end) 👀 He was 90% blind when he came into us 📆 It’s taken us 4 months to fix him up and rehab him 🏥 He’s had 3 trips to the hospital 800km away 💵 His medical bills are over $3000 but someone kindly paid to have his eyesight restored. SOMEONE DUMPED THE DOG IN OUR AREA!!!!💔 Mom here: So sorry we’ve been absent this last week, but we were all taken by this sad situation😞This is a third dog that made his way to our home within 10 years of owning our lake home! Third dog not chipped, not neutered, full of ticks, malnourished with signs of abuse. My husband found him, gave him water, food, earned his trust he named him temporarily Johnny Boy. Knowing his condition we truly didn’t want him to go back where he came from, but we still did the right thing & made the post on local Facebook & spread the word between the locals, as expected, no one tried to reach out. We couldn’t get him closed to Arći as he was full of ticks. We didn’t know if he was a dog friendly & Arći being a little puppy I did not want to take that risk. We created him a space with comfortable bed in our storage room short walk from the house, but also behind the fence where Arći hangs out. Meanwhile I called at least 20 shelters to try to find him a spot, they were all full. That is where the sad part happens when you lose a hope but we were determined to help him… Johnny Boy was hanging out with my husband daily, being on a job site with him, enjoying rides in off road buggy, being such a gentle boy! Now the happy part: few days ago, one of our helper that works for us saw the dog on the job site & fell in love with him. He took a picture of him, showed him to his family & reached out to us that he would like to meet him with his dog & his kids. Well, the rest is a history. They absolutely loved him. It turns out Johnny Boy now Moses is dog friendly & really really loves the kiddos. He now has a beautiful home, loving family, few acres of the backyard & peace in mind he will never be dumped again. Moses had a vet checkup. He is now updated on the shots, we offered to pay for his neutering & the chip we sent him to a new home with the bed that actually belonged to Azlan as he really enjoyed it, we gave them flea & tick shampoo & some food! Our hearts are absolutely joyful to the fullest as we get the updates how well he’s doing with his forever family. The community reached out to us about this lovely little gentle boy today. What we know so far is that he was dumped in a local temple with his brother, who sadly lost his life after being hit by a car. It meant that this gentle little sow was battling on his own, trying to survive with the big dogs and some very painful skin. The good news is that he is in Tinas Hospital and the skin issues are very fixable, along with his bad blood and some other straightforward issues to fix. Yes he does absolutely remind me of little Rodney when he first came in. And for anybody who watches the TV show "Only Fools and Horses", that's why he's called Trigger. The line between life and death is incredibly thin for these street dogs but little Trigger has landed on the right side of things this week. Given his young age I'm very confident he's gonna grow up into a big healthy dog with love and care that we can provide him. After the week we had it's very important to finish the week on a high. There's nothing more fulfilling than saving a little dog's life and altering his future. Trigger will be resting up all weekend and getting his special medicines and creams and I don't think it will be long before he has a big happy smile and a waggy tail on him ❤️

I was going to post this today and after reading Tae’s Dazed interview, it feels particularly poignant. Especially after seeing him on stage with my own eyes. I refused to post this video by Flag Boy for reasons known to me but on a second thought I am doing it.. I have seen many of you accusing him of having corn 🌽 in his pocket while others claim he is not needed, the movement is bigger than him,he has nothing to offer to the movement blablabla.. But I have not seen anybody ask critical questions as per why he is abandoning the movement and particularly why calling out someone as reason behind his decision. Are some of you aware that Flag Boy was tourtured and humiliated in 2023 because of this movement? All you do is to call him names believing you can win this race alone for PO forgetting that we need each to succeed. Our good friend is coming from Texas for a visit this Saturday for a week. He’s the friend who gave us Rocky, our one male dog in the five dog pack. He was just too big and strong for him to handle at his age. As difficult as it was for the first few months, to associate him with our pack, he is the best dog you could ever want. I wouldn’t trade him for the world, even though he had me dropping F-bombs frequently. He is the most gentle and loving dog in the world and he literally lets his sister and the other dogs boss him around even though he is so much bigger and stronger. He loves them and is always looking out for them. He shadows me everywhere. I love him. I cannot wait to see his reaction when he sees our friend again. He’s going to be so happy. I might cry. I told him that he would never find a better home than ours and we are so happy he is here. Sometimes life surprises you. I would have never guessed we would have five dogs and become a mini dog rescue, but as I often tell people, you never know where you’ll be in five years. Leave your heart open to change and see what God will do. Here’s a video of my boy playing with his “tug of war” blanket. He would constantly put it on like a shirt.😁
