The molten metal is mesmerizing. Nature and engineering in action. Never fails to impress.

Early in my career I designed components for automation equipment. It’s one of the world’s greatest wonders. Borderline magic

I have had the privilege of spending at least one day at about 100 factories as a result of my career. I found every one fascinating. I am glad the internet lets me see even more manufacturing processes, and that everyone else can see how clever the people are, from early planners, to the builders, to the operators. The operators are often experts on facts I didn't even know existed.

Excuse me? Manufacturer who has a man standing on a conveyor with molten metal coming out of work? OSHA would like a word with you, please.
