Hot take: COD Mobile should completely remove TPP mode and focus only on FPP... They should try to make CODM BR more like Warzone Mobile... WZM movements and gameplay was insane..just bad optimization COD Mobile can provide these movements with good optimization.. What u think about this ?

Hm idk how this is related but I feel most of ppl play tpp because I only play fpp and it's hard to find matches but with tpp it's within seconds

@praty75602 Because no one really plays fpp that's why it's hard to find a match. Notice even in the iferg Tournaments it's always tpp because players hate fpp.

@praty75602 After PUBG idk why they only play tpp

I hope they don't listen to you Maybe the only reason why KIDS AND NOOBS dont like MP and DMZ because its FPP, and how the hell we supposed to see our mythic operators? Whats fun in ONLY FPP, FREE FIRE AND PUBG GETTING MORE NEW PLAYERS EVERY YEAR BECAUSE OF TPP IN MULTIPLAYER

@SimonFX_ Ideal as it would be: 1. Game would lose most of its BR audience cuz little Timmy can’t rat around corners anymore 2. Engine is outdated and any physics they add in just feels clunky and nothing like modern cod games

thing I liked about wzm was its more sandbox ish and its mechanics allowing many ways to play fast paced instead of janky mechanics like taking 5 sec to climb a fence Plus it’s got a lot of quality of life like shooting semi auto guns indefinitely & having select fire

A separate mode for BR ranked, something on the line of League play, where TPP and classes aren't allowed

You all should stop posting this kind of stuff like making codm like warzone do you even think about those of us that don't have good device if codm later decide to do it like you said almost every one will quit playing codm and those of you that are rich will not enjoy it again

Horrible take. FPP mode is already there if you need it, no need to change anything.

The distinction we need is between 2-3/4 finger layouts tbh. As a 2 finger player, it feels extremely unfair when you encounter someone playing with 4 fingers.

Well this logic also apply on current br 4,5 finger player ..always have advantage ..

I like having the option. They can have both and fix any optimization issues. They just don’t. BS separates the two, but eliminating it in codm bc some don’t like it is a bit much.

I think CODM will never feel quite like this, and I think it’s because of the engine they use. CODM’s animations are fine, but they feel way too clunky and out of place.

But that mode already exists; only those who enjoy playing it can choose it, and besides, you find more real people in Legend rank.

Nope terrible idea lol ... Mobile br has been a tpp forcing players to play fpp just the most the devs can do to kill his own game. Even blood strike is now having its own tpp

I agree on this but I’m sure there are lot people who like tpp only

Ya gameplay, movement, also sound and fx too , the impact of the game feels so energetic that way, I played mw2019 and MW2 remastered both are really awesome, after playing those two codm feels like kids game 😭

This makes no sense. What you mean completely remove TPP mode lmao

I'd say the movement is fine... the problem is the animation fluidity and the climbing system, which is awful... seriously, climbing things in COD Mobile, even stairs, is a real struggle.

“Codm should remove TTP” bruh stfu.. if u wanna play first person play that mode Or go tell them activate back warzone… the community loves third person and wouldnt want it any other way

I 100% agree because call of duty is a FIRST PERSON SHOOTER

stelaru's profile picture

I think classes (medic, trap master, smoke bomber, etc) should be completely removed/be exclusive to a separate game mode. They just keep nerfing all of them because they're just awful and should've never existed

Fenix's profile picture

Lol I’d quit playing the game if this happened, we are buying theses legendary and mythic operators to enjoy the complete aesthetics not to see a holo watch and get exited like MP players

This suggestion is really ridiculous. Call of Duty Mobile is based on Black Ops 4, it can't be changed to Call of Duty Modern Warfare Warzone.

If you're a mobile engineer or interested in iOS and Android, this podcast episode is as good as it gets: How Notion builds its iOS and Android apps. Two of Notion's founding mobile engineers help us dive deep into the productivity app used by tens of millions of users on mobile. Listen to it or watch it here: Spotify: YouTube: Apple: Web & transcript: -- This episode is brought to you by DX the engineering intelligence platform designed by leading researchers. Learn more about them here: (Coincidentally, DX have just launched a very interesting dev productivity framework called DX Core 4: -- Three interesting takeaways from this conversation: 1. Notion’s native mobile team is surprisingly small! Notion employs about 600 staff, but the mobile team is only 11 people – including iOS and Android. This team size is very small, especially considering how Notion serves more than 10M users on both iOS and Android. We’re likely talking about one engineer for every ~2M or more users! 2. Moving from web-based to native was an incremental process by necessity. Thanks to a small native team, and the need to keep the mobile apps up-to-date with the latest Notion features, the native mobile engineering team didn’t have the luxury of doing a large mobile app rewrite. Instead, they did the sensible thing of slowly migrating parts of the app. Today, most of Notion’s apps are fully native, save for the editor. The editor remains one of the most complex parts of Notion. 3. Notion releases their app on a weekly cadence. Native mobile apps need to go through an app review flow from Apple and Google, and so many native apps are released less frequently, to account for this overhead. Notion doing a weekly release cycle is impressive – and it can serve as inspiration for other native mobile teams. If Notion, with 10M+ native users and a small team, does this, other native teams can as well! Thanks to the Notion team for sharing all these details!

Here are a few things you probably did not know about Reddit's iOS and Android apps: they are ~2.5M lines of code each, with 500+ screens, and a total of 200 native mobile engineers work on the both of them (including a dedicated iOS and Android mobile platform team) But a few years ago, things looked very different - and Reddit quietly rebuilt their native apps from 2021. Today's conversation goes through what happened and how, with three engineers from Reddit’s mobile platform team who led this work: Lauren Darcey (Head of Mobile Platform), Brandon Kobilansky (iOS Platform Lead), and Eric Kuck (Principal Android Engineer) Watch or listen: • YouTube: • Spotify: • Apple: --- Brought to you by: • Graphite (we've moved to @graphite) — The AI developer productivity platform • Sentry — Error and performance monitoring for developers. Get 150k errors (three months of Team Plan) for free at --- Three of my takeaways from this episode: 𝟭. 𝗣𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆 – 𝘀𝗼 𝗽𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻! One of the reasons Reddit started investing heavily in modernizing its mobile stack was that the “old stack” was slowing down developers. Reddit’s platform team got proof of this simply by asking native engineers about the biggest development-related challenges they face. 𝟮. 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸. Advice from Brandon for anyone looking to work on a platform team: "You should try to work at a tech company for a year or two and actually see what happens after you ship a system — and then the assumptions change! You then have to figure out how to keep this thing going. You get a bunch of software design intuition because you have to like re-evaluate your assumptions for an incredibly long time. If you can do that, you're probably ready for platform stuff." 𝟯. 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗔𝗜 𝗰𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 “𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲” 𝘆𝗲𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗲. LLMs integrated into IDEs seem to be increasingly helpful with backend, fullstack, web and even cross-platform (React Native / Expo) projects. However, Reddit’s mobile team shared that they get a moderate boost from the Apple and Android Studio LLM additions. Native mobile development is distinctively different from web, fullstack and backend coding – and it seems that these IDEs with AI functionality have not done much to optimize for the expereince of native mobile engineers. Over time, this will likely change – but it’s a reminder that there are differences between fullstack, backend and native mobile development.(I wrote a book reflecting on more of the challenges unique to native mobile titled Building Mobile Apps at Scale)
