This 80 kg feminist woman says she overcame toxic religious restrictions and Indian culture by wearing a bikini in front of her family. Why is the empowerment of women all about wearing attire designed by Western men and justifying culture set by Western men? These women are such blind sepoys that they aren't even aware that the bikini was literally designed to sexualize women. Or they are aware of it and still worship them because they are developed nations and have the most influence on the modern world? Are Indian men also to be blamed for Indian women becoming sepoys of Western men? Because Western culture was indeed glorified by simp men in India, who adopted Western attire and culture to sexualize women and benefit from it, in movies, advertisements, etc. Can we ever bring women out of the sepoy mindset that everything Western men do is progressive and everything Indian men do is regressive? You can literally see Western men sexualizing women in yoga pants lol, but they act like the bikini is a modest attire to benefit from it. Yes, Alex, they are — that’s exactly why we don’t want men in our spaces. And a man wearing a dress does not diminish his risk of being a predator; it probably increases it. We know not all men are predators, but decent men understand that we have to keep all men out of women’s spaces to keep them safe. The burqa didn’t cause the housing crisis.” I think Pauline’s stunt was stupid, but this is a terrible argument by Fatima Payman. You could give me billions of dollars, solve every single economic need I might ever have, and I would still oppose the burqa because it is extremely repressive and brutal towards women. The reason that hardcore Islamic fundamentalists enforce it on women is because they want to keep women as second class citizens. They want to completely segregate them and cut them off from society. Human beings are social creatures and our sociability depends on countless subtle gestures and facial expressions. The burqa completely cuts that away, robbing women of the ability to partake in the most basic forms of communication. So you can’t just defend the burqa on the basis that it doesn’t impact my rent. I am not just a calculator, I am not just a purely economic being. I am a human being embedded in a wider society and culture. So questions of culture will always be important to me.

If you want kids, have 2. And make sure they are 14-18 months a part. It’s a life hack Until they are both at least two, life will be hard. But once they are that age, throw them in the same room together. Encourage them to be best friends. And then watch as the fruit of your labor multiplies. I often just sit and watch their brains explode as they amuse themselves. Sometimes I sleep in and they are alone in the living room for a good hour by themselves. I’ve even come out before and they already fed themselves breakfast
