No. None of the stuff coming out of Athens in that era was Southern Rock. Maybe Southern Pop.

Yeah, at least the first 4 albums; it just hit the "Southern Rock " spot from a different angle. A lil darker, a lil more chilling; but the feel of a Georgia band was still there. After "Monster", tho'; they lost that, + their music suffered for it.
