hot take: Star Wars Jedi Survivor

Star wars jedi sure is fun and had its moment But i dont think i will categorize it as soulslike.. feel like its missing a lot of soulslike component

Star Wars Jedi is very much Action Adventure 80% and only 20% soulslike It's extremely fun and I love it, but I really wouldn't call it a soulslike, unlike Lies of P

These games are fucking ass combat wise

I think many souls game lose sight of power fantasy and feel for difficulty even elden ring, I think this game a has a solid balance where you get to feel like a Jedi and not have to go try hard in every fight

How much better is Survivor? Cause imma be honest I did not have a lot of fun with Fallen Order like at all, felt Like a struggle to get through

This game has one of the worst combat flows I have ever seen in a video game. While I was playing this I couldn't stop thinking WHY they made the combat a souls like shit. If It was at least a good one, but nooooo... Horrible

As a souls like, I think fallen order is better. Combat is more punishing with less options and the level design created linear approaches to fights. Survivor is the better game, it's level design+combat is amazing, but I think the more open nature makes FO more of a soulslike.

The only good thing about this game is the fact you’re a Jedi. Looking back they are both super mid games

The Jedi Fallen Order and Survivor aren't great games, they're just good, at best. People simply think it's amazing because most haven't played any of the classic Star Wars games.
