HOT TAKE: The GOP not codifying most DOGE cuts is the single stupidest decision in the history of Republican Party. They ALL talked about cutting spending... and that's all they did. Elon came in with a team and a plan... ...and the GOP didn't give a damn, so disappointing

Most Republicans, sadly, are actually Democrats. Usually they can hide it more subtly. That’s why so many of them got primaried. It takes a LONG time to drain even a putrid swamp…in a Constitutional Republic.

Because the GOP are part of the Containment Right. They were always controlled opposition to give us the illusion of power. This is why they hate us and Trump so much. We broke their lie.

Don't confuse @POTUS @realDonaldTrump with Congress, @SenateGOP in particular. He's done everything he can do under the Constitution. Congress hasn't codified his Executive Orders or even passed SAVE America Act. He's trying to do everything on his own since they're not...

IIRC, DOGE found ~$200 Billion worth of wasteful spending. Congress cut ~$9 Billion. Even if these cuts are codified, congress would probably just add new names/ways to spend that money. Cynical as I am, I will still vote GOP this midterm since the alternative is far worse.
