#VIRAL | Tourists from Gujarat have drawn criticism online after a video allegedly showing them misbehaving with staff at Mishmi Hills Resort in Anini, located in Arunachal Pradesh’s Dibang Valley, went viral. The incident reportedly took place on February 20 and stemmed from a disagreement over the resort’s policy prohibiting outside food and beverages. The video, widely shared on social media platform X, shows a group of men and women arguing with staff members inside the property. Other guests were seen stepping in to support the staff and attempting to calm the situation. In a statement posted on Instagram, the resort management said it felt compelled to address the matter publicly, sharing video clips of the incident. The statement said Mishmi Hills Resort has consistently aimed to offer warm hospitality to visitors from across India and abroad, emphasising cultural exchange and mutual respect. According to the resort, staff had politely informed the guests about the 'no outside food and drinks' policy. However, the situation allegedly escalated when the guests reacted aggressively. The management claimed the individuals engaged in inappropriate behaviour, made offensive remarks, and caused property damage. The statement further alleged that the guests attempted to pressure staff by referring to influential connections with prominent corporate figures and organisations, including Reliance Industries Limited. The incident has since sparked widespread discussion on social media. #ArunachalPradesh #tourists #TheAssamTribune Arunachal Pradesh Police
