Israel has carried out air strikes in western and central Iran after Iran fired missiles at northern Israel. It's the first time the two countries have launched attacks on each other's territory since a ceasefire came into force two months ago. Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said the operation was "not a passing event" but "the beginning of a full week of continuous strikes". Earlier on Sunday, Israel also struck Lebanon's capital, Beirut, saying it was responding to Hezbollah fire targeting northern Israel.

Israeli defenses intercepted most of the projectiles; no major casualties reported. ▪️Diplomatic fallout: Israeli officials are pushing for retaliation. Trump spoke with Netanyahu and urged restraint to protect ongoing talks with Iran. Israeli media reported Netanyahu appeared open to holding off immediate strikes. ▪️Meanwhile in Iraq: The IRGC conducted drone strikes on Iranian Kurdish opposition targets near Sulaymaniyah in northern Iraq. The region is on fire, and deterrence is being tested. Watch what Israel does before dawn tomorrow.
