Do you actually know the difference between wild and farmed fish? Most of you are pretending to know the difference between farmed and wild caught fish… but here’s the thing: It’s not about the source. It’s about the QUALITY and SUSTAINABILITY. You’re not going to your local butcher and asking where the wild caught chicken is. So why with your seafood? What matters is whether the your fish is coming from a high quality, responsible fisher. When it hits the pan, fish is fish. Whenever shopping for seafood of any type always do so responsibly and sustainably! More info at , ,

We drop fish out of planes. Well, sometimes. It’s a process called “fish stocking,” where US states breed fish with the purpose of releasing them into rivers and lakes to then be caught by fishers. And when those lakes are up in the mountains, it can take a plane or a helicopter to get the live fish to the water. But in many cases, these very lakes never had any fish in them to begin with. And adding these non-native fish can have ripple effects on the entire ecosystem.
