I think a lot of people say the 06 OST is bad just because it’s from 06 and don’t want to admit that the OST is one of the few things they did right with that game. Truly a very ambitious OST for the series, and arguably one of the best, imo.

the beat, the music, the rhythm, the name of the fucking song makes Sonic feel like this naturally occuring phenomenon, an eye catching event — like the northern lights or a solar eclipse. A rare sight, for if there is danger, there is Sonic; and just like the wind he's gone.

Sonic 06's soundtrack was NEVER the issue, Id argue non of the games soundtracks are ever the issues. It was the fact that O6 was a buggy mess. I even personally was FINE with the story beats.

His World and Live and Learn are so far above any other sonic theme it's not even funny.

It's so jarring going from this opening to the in-game graphics. Especially considering the Tokyo demo looked so good.
