@electric_4u The massive spinner is called the FAN, the main purpose is to push as much as possible volume of air to the back, the ratio is round about 90% in the Bypass Duct, 10% core engine. As water droplets are heavier than air, they are centrifuged out to the bypass duct and pushed ⬇️

So its like a mister for cooling? Some turbos on cars are water cooled, same with intercoolers. For example some Subarus have with this feature.
