How a tsunami evacuation pod works

With my luck I’d be taken out to sea instead of inland

Until the tsunami traps you under a pile of debris and the GPS stops working.

And then ending up floating somewhere in the middle of the ocean 😭

Super cool, but wouldn't it be faster just to have a solid escape plan? I mean, where do you even park that pod when you're just living your daily life?

I would want GPS, powerful transmitters, fresh water and a big hydraulic jack system to force the door open if trapped in debris. Flashing lights and a P A horn might be useful too.

The exit can get damaged and you’ll run out of air.
