This is what a 250th fireworks celebration should look like

Worst Fireworks ever. Couldn't see shit with all the smoke

After about seven minutes, the fireworks were blocked by smoke and fog due to the lack of wind and the high humidity from the rain just before. Probably the worst ones I’ve seen, but they had so much potential. It became nothing but bright explosions… there was no sharpness.

Couldn’t even see across the river, well done!

Now actually make the City we once loved livable, viable, and safe once again!!!!!

All I saw was a bunch of smoke. Didn't play well on TV at all.

Amazing!! Thank you for recovering from the weather and celebrating America 250 right!! I also remember in 2003 when you played “It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood” and gave Fred Rogers a fireworks tribute. Pittsburgh always does the 4th right!! ❤️

Nobody's fault except mother nature (I'm assuming) but it was strictly and audio event from the West End bridge.

Probably the biggest let down in Pittsburgh fireworks history. The OG skyblasts for the @Pirates still have yet to be topped.

At least you guys had fireworks…here in Philadelphia we had natures fireworks and big storms.

I wouldn't know because I was stuck on a bus trying to get home because idiots had to park on the road, on the sides, on the ramps it was ridiculous hour and a half on the bus to get home normally a 15 minute ride...

It’s the only thing you guys don’t FUBAR and also handled by a private contractor. Not a coincidence.

good job on getting your fireworks in on July 4th, and not July 5th.

I think a better celebration would have been ending homelessness or giving people healthcare or something with that money. Instead we literally lit a bunch of money on fire.

The great thing about Pittsburgh being so cloudy is it makes the fireworks so much blurrier to torment @SonnyBunch and @ComfortablySmug . Happy 4th of July guys.
