What’s even funnier about this level is that you can actually skip it and avoid all the stress because there’s a secret barrel in the beginning.

Real talk why was everything on SNES so damn challenging. Lion king, Mario (once you got far enough) DK, Zelda…they real deal had us crashing out in elementary 🤣

I swear this is one of the biggest difficulty jumps in gaming. At least at the time. Like the game isnt THAT hard prior and then this comes along and it's harder than pretty much any other minecart level in the series imo.

Shhh, that level was easy boy Try Crash Bandicoot 4

And, this was easy compared to the NES TMNT or Battle Toads.

@Tamaramonkey This level had me consider therapy as a 5 year old. But I passed it, so I got therapy at 21.

I need my dark souls players to go back and play some of these SNES classics. These segments of Donkey Kong Country were painful. Super Star Wars Trilogy was a nightmare too, especially the first as it had no save system. Super R Type was a difficult one as well.

I’m pretty sure my anger issues stem from this game.

They really did fuck with our nerves with some of these games.
