Every religion especially Hinduism, Sikhism, and Jainism teaches us one core value above all: compassion. In our culture, every deity, every God, carries an animal as their vahan. From Nandi to Garuda, from Mushak to Simha our scriptures themselves remind us that animals are not separate from us; they are sacred, they are family. Our rituals, our sanskars, our festivals… all have animals and birds woven into their very foundation. Hinduism, in particular, honors them at every stage of life. Yet somewhere in today’s noise, many people forget the basic teaching of every religion to love, protect, and care for all living beings. Let’s revive that compassion. Let’s bring back the spirit of kindness that has always defined India. Let’s keep the soul of our civilisation alive with empathy, humanity, and love for every voiceless being.

Religion is not merely worship it is the right way of living. That which teaches us values discipline morality and duty is true religion. A constitution may not eliminate every problem but it certainly gives people the right to seek justice.
