In a farewell speech to Congress, Rep. Dean Phillips just eviscerated “legalized corruption” in D.C. and the two-party “monopoly on our democracy.” “My father and 1 million Americans have been killed in service to our country since 1776. They did not sacrifice their lives for members of Congress to act like kindergartners. They did not sacrifice their lives for members of Congress to spend 10,000 hours per week begging for campaign cash used to eviscerate fellow Americans running for office. They did not sacrifice their lives for members of Congress to do nothing as 60% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck. They did not sacrifice their lives for members of Congress to do nothing as 500,000 Americans go bankrupt every year from medical debt, and 26 million go without any health insurance at all. They did not sacrifice their lives for Congress to do nothing as 50,000 Americans die from gun violence and another 100,000 from overdoses every single year. They did not sacrifice their lives for Congress to do nothing as wealthy industries shower millions upon millions in campaign cash on the very committee members who set the rules for their industries. It’s legalized corruption. My father and 1 million Americans did not sacrifice their lives for Congress to enable two private corporations, the two major parties, to maintain a virtual monopoly on our democracy. As I bid farewell, I humbly ask all the members of the next Congress … to call on your better angels and act with courage, not cowardice. Do we wish to be a nation that metaphorically goes to the Moon together, or one that goes to war against one another?” Dean Phillips

On Memorial Day, we don’t just grill and chill. We honor our services members who made the ultimate sacrifice. They gave their country everything so that we can be free. They are the REAL HEROES. Let them never be forgotten.

Congress has a constitutional duty to conduct oversight of the agencies it creates. When the heads of ATF, FBI, and DOJ all refuse to answer our questions, aren’t they guilty of contempt?

Even lesbians know what’s happening. Their bars got taken over, and they still won’t say it out loud because they know exactly what happens when they do. They’re afraid to say what they can see with their own eyes. The muzzle is on.

This will make you FURIOUS Matt Gaetz exposes how Lobbyists buy Congress - In the morning they hand them thousands of dollars IN CASH each to vote their way on legislation - They bypass campaign finance laws by “hiring people's otherwise unemployable family members” - “The number of spouses and children of members of Congress who become lobbyists is astonishing” - Lobbyists are in the halls of Congress daily, they “work the halls throughout the day with staff members who hope to one day become lobbyists” “Senator Richard Burr from North Carolina, his wife and son both became lobbyists and he was the chairman of the Intelligence committee — Do you think that they had special persuasion skills or was it their familial relationship that they were monetizing?”

ELON MUSK: "There's a lot of strangely wealthy members of Congress. I'm trying to connect the dots. How do they become rich while earning? How do they get $20 million of they are earning $200,000 a year? Nobody can explain that. We are going to try to figure that out."

Members of Congress have the legal right to conduct oversight at ICE facilities. Kristi Noem directed agents to break the law and deny me entry. Trump and Noem think they can ignore the Constitution and make up their own rules. Enough is enough. What are they trying to hide?
