We will oppose the introduction. We will demand its reference to a Joint Parliamentary Committee. We believe it's unconstitutional. We believe it goes against the basic structure and it is meant to throttle democracy and accountability in this country. Mallikarjun Kharge had written to former President Ramnath Kovind on 17 January on why the Congress party is objecting to the very idea of one nation, one election. The one nation, one election bill is only the first milestone, the real objective is to bring a new constitution. Amending the Constitution is one thing but bringing a Constitution which is the real objective of the RSS and PM Modi...We know what the RSS thinks about this Constitution. They rejected this Constitution on 30th November 1949 saying that it doesn't derive inspiration from the values of Manusmriti and so on. One nation, one election, is only a first step, the real step is to completely change this Constitution, replace this constitution with a new constitution. That's what we are opposing..."

This morning, the INDIA alliance parties have moved an adjournment motion to discuss important subjects, including the Pahalgam attack, Operation Sindoor, and foreign affairs issues, which the nation wants clarity on. It's the Parliament's prerogative to be informed about these matters. If the government claims to be ready for discussion, why the delay? They should show courtesy and facilitate a discussion now. Every issue concerning the people of this country will be raised by the Opposition in Parliament. The Ram Mandir donation issue is one of the biggest corruption issues in the country. This is not just a corruption issue; it is also an attack on the faith of Hindus. We will definitely raise this issue in Parliament. I heard the statement of the External Affairs Minister, and it seems like a statement by the US Secretary of State. Whatever the US is saying against our Indian citizens has been totally authenticated by the GoI. We understand there will be legal proceedings and deportations of illegal immigrants, but the way in which they have done this time is very unfortunate. What's shocking is that the Indian government is showing utter helplessness, and they are completely going with the same stand as the US State Department.
