Ukraine's +26% rise in export growth to Saudi Arabia in 2024 is only one data point among a multi-faceted and growing economic partnership. Today, we began our working visit of the Ukrainian delegation to Saudi Arabia with a meeting attended by nearly a hundred local entrepreneurs. We presented projects in energy, agriculture, and infrastructure, along with large-scale initiatives in public–private partnerships and attractive privatization opportunities. In the coming days, we will hold dozens of meetings to prepare for President Zelenskyy’s visit to Saudi Arabia. In particular, we are working on the signing of important economic agreements with Middle Eastern countries. Saudi Arabia actively supports Ukraine, having allocated $500 million for Ukraine’s recovery, along with both humanitarian and economic assistance. Our joint efforts are already yielding results. Though gradual, progress is evident: exports to Saudi Arabia increased from $291 million in 2023 to $368 million in 2024, with clear expectations of further growth this year. While we have not yet reached pre-war levels, I am hopeful that we will, with business forums like this playing a crucial role. And I would like to my gratitude to the Minister of Investment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia خالد الفالح | Khalid Al Falih for such a productive business forum.
