How Chrome was created.

The stories of how some of the most beloved products we use today almost got shelved and would never have seen the light of the day if not for the persistence of some relentless individuals is both illuminating and hilarious

And along the way Chrome became as bad as any other browser.

Pretty similar to the early days of 3M. Although the 3M story is even more telling of why managers sometimes should let builders build! This off-course resonates with my own story. Go stealth mode until a working product.

@WholeMarsBlog Note that Chrome was forked from the Chromium project. Which team actually did better? Check the CVE count of Chrome vs. Chromium. You can even combine all the CVEs from Chromium + Edge fork and put it up against Chrome fork. Anyone in tech knows the result already.
