Legendary in the PNW. We celebrate its anniversary every year. LOL

Imagine having to tell your insurance company about this 😂

Does anybody think they blew the whale up for any reason other than they thought it would be fun to do?

whoa have you heard this yet?

This was the original DOGE 😂😂😂

Florence, Oregon

Oregonians know ALL about this mess...

In the 60s and 70s the government loved blowing stuff up. My family had a large farm in Central Mississippi with the Strong River running through it. Our land also bordered the Bienville National Forest on our east boundary. Beaver would damage the river on our property and the water would back up into the nation forest destroying 100s of acres of timber. The government came and gave my uncle a short explosive class and dynamite to use against the beaver dams. That went on into the late 1970s.

Never underestimate the government need to dispose of old munitions in creative ways

OMG this is he-Larry-us, remember people always trust the experts, they will never steer ya wrong. 😂🤦♀️😂

OMG! I remember that. I also remember a time when a whale washed ashore in Mexico and the people were coming and cutting chunks of meat off of it.
