So basically doesn't know the "extractor spring" on the AR-15 (which is very small an easily wears out) is the cause so does the same stupid thing expecting different results. As a Canadian, the extractor head has to be changed out for rebuild every X amount or rounds.

When I was very young, I had a ND for this same reason, but fortunately, I was following the other rules, so the weapon was pointed downrange and no one was in danger, but it scared the crap out of me. I've never skipped the visual check since.
