Now stuck in the UAE, he’s part of tens of thousands of passengers stranded as airports across the Middle East shut down. The UAE's civil aviation authority said it assisted about 20,200 travelers on Saturday alone and the UAE confirmed tourists and passengers stranded in the country will have their accommodation costs covered by the state.
