People need to understand that it is very hard to raise big dogs in an apartment if you’re not running with them for at least 5 to 10 miles a day, minimum… It is unfair to big dogs to live in small spaces like that…. Even when I had my Shepherd, I’d bike with him 10 miles in the evening and 10 miles in the morning before I went to work, and he’d literally sleep all night after his run and sleep all day while i was at work… I had a small mini poodle when I was married and she was fine after walking a mile and would sleep a good 2 hours after her walks….just letting her run around in my backyard was enough to tire her out….. Completely different with a medium or big dog….

Maybe he should take his dog out more instead of keeping her in the crate all day.

Don't get a dog for a shitty small apartment if you don't know how to train and care for it. Your supposed to know what type of environment is best for the breed of dog you have. If you have a young working breed, the dog needs lots of walking and exercise or they will destroy your apartment.
