We went from 90% important social structures in order to meet a mate to 60%+ online, anonymous, superficial etc. People wonder what went wrong, but when your primary method for meeting a mate is whether they swipe right on a mostly performative picture vs family, neighbours, church which are all deeply interconnected communities then what went wrong is obvious and what to do next is equally obvious.
