Okay 1. Really glad you mentioned the Anglicans but 2. The lectionary doesn't really have a lot of footnotes. And 3. Lectionaries actually help with sermon prep because text selection is done for you and so you can start at step 2: "what am I supposed to say about this?"

Haha I was doing my best to be accurate but satirical, mostly pointing out how specific and precise the liturgy is. I definitely own that it wasn’t perfectly accurate :-)
