How did gravity work on the Death Star

Are you writing a horror story about gravity malfunctioning?

The in-universe solution is called internal dampers, just fyi. It's the same reason why the occupants don't feel the G's at any speed. I literally just learned this the other day, neat! Wiki is a stub but it gives another example.

Now explain the orientation/gravity of the gunner turrets on the Millennium Falcon.

Bro said “not so fast” ☠️

Pretty sure that horror story is called Stalker, with the added caveat that the malfunctioning gravity units catapult themselves all the way to Earth in the prologue.

There was an episode of Doctor Who where this was a plot point: a spaceship had spherical artificial gravity on the outside (so the heroes could jump up to it from the ground) but floor gravity on the inside (so they could walk on the ship in a non-psycho way)

Star Wars official diagrams are horizontal floor style

Could be that its a series of floors all radiating from a center.
