How did I not know about this?

A lot of countries don’t wash the natural wax off eggs so they can be stored at room temperature for quite a while. They don’t need refrigeration, but our country does something that removes that protective coating, so you must refrigerate them.

It’s not about the country the chickens are in, if you can get farm fresh unwashed eggs you don’t refrigerate em and they are glorious

Try using some fresh sausage or maybe bacon and real cheese. That so called American cheese chemical crap is like that frozen sausage Pattie….chemical garb

I’ll definitely be trying this but with ham and real cheese. We live in Costa Rica and our eggs do not go in the fridge.

FYI, eggs that are not washed or refrigerated need no refrigeration. Folks with their own chickens never refrigerated eggs. They will stay good on the countertop for weeks. DO NOT try that with store bought eggs!
