Why are these supposedly easier recipes a lot more involved than just doing it the regular way, all ingredients except the oats into a mixer and then just add the oats.

I’m pretty sure Grandma mixed it up in a bowl with a wooden spoon and greased the pan. Not threw it all into a pan and mixed it up with a potato masher.

I freeze my bananas so when I wanna use them, I take out how many I need and let it defrost about five minutes and it did come out exactly the same
