How did these priests keep it together? Listen to this music during Ash Wednesday at the Catholic Cathedral of Cologne, Germany, yesterday. (Why might Catholics in Germany not be attending Mass anymore?)

This, look…I mean… 👀

CORRECTION—I’m told that’s the Basilica of Holy Apostles in Cologne, Germany. I wouldn’t know, as I’d never step foot inside it without assurances the liturgists were FAR away.

Maybe the organist placed the sheet music upside down and in reverse page order? How is it not considered an act of violence against sound? It is so absurd. How can anyone defend this?

The Church in Germany is funded. Your tithes are taken out of your taxes. In order to stop that, you need to essentially commit apostasy. So, even cultural Catholics tithe. But, without Catholics in the pews, the Church hires administrators from the general populace. So, the people running the show probably don’t even believe in God. Once you have that piece of info, Germany makes much more sense.

Why did Two and a Half Men star Angus T. Jones call the show “filth” before leaving it in 2012? Since then, he’s left Hollywood, choosing to focus on his faith and community work. Here's the full story 👇

I'm not catholic but this seems like aucistic heresy.

It has a pagan unnatural cadence. It reminds me of the scandalous music at the Eucharistic pilgrimage in Indiana last year on July 4. It was basically a rock band during the liturgy and exposition. It was disgraceful.

Was that the Phantom of the Opera?

What part of the Mass was this? It doesn't appear to be the Psalm, nor the application of ashes. I'm horribly confused. Also, my ears...

Ash Wednesday became "Ash Wednesday of the Arts“ here in Germany, where "artists" go mad in churches. It's absolute disgusting, but it has nothing to do with mass attendance, bc it's this one day and (at least) only in some churches. Would never go there.

I mean…why would any man, or any young person for that matter, attend liturgical ceremonies with music like this? Seriously.
