This network of underground tunnels stretches over more than 6 km and forms a labyrinth around a huge central shaft. This is where more than 40,000 predynastic stone vessels were found (like the precision stone vases of Matt Beall’s collection) As you can see on the pictures, many shards of broken stone vessels can still be found down there.
