Yes, SR3 was the start of the downfall. Them killing off Johnny early, some of the missions were intros to activities, Steelport feeling empty & lifeless compared to Stillwater, the zombie storyline, and fighting the brutes that died only when you do the QTE? A big fumble.

1. None of this shit happened in the game once 2. The only good side character “died” at the beginning 3. Dildo bat… They went so far in the direction of trying to distance themselves from a GTA like game that it suffered for it. And now all of gaming is going to suffer because of GTA…

SR4 is what killed this series

3 was always my favorite. Just the right amount of over the top silly while still feel like you were a gang rising up in status and power. I dunno why people say it's bad.

a lackluster villain showing up out of nowhere and killing off the face of the franchise which somehow all lead up to a zombie invasion was when saints row stopped being saints row imo. was sr3 a good game? yeah. was it a good saints row game? not really.

The fans wanted Saints Row 2.5 and instead we got Saints row 3 but written for sad netflix millenials

Very disappointing. But with great hype moments. For starters they killed off the only threatening villain that had any real stakes in the story 1/4 of the way in the game.

This was the start of the fumble honestly, series started focusing too much on the comedic elements from here on until it became unrecognizable
