how did this even remotely involve skill at any point, this game needs to nerf bagging really badly

some people are dense on purpose bc of course its twitter 1. yes mario kart should have a balance, there is a competitive scene but also it makes the game feel fair online 2. the point is you throw your lead on purpose until last second bc frontrunning in this game sucks

there is no reason why i should be letting go of the acceleration to get to 24th on purpose in any mario kart but this game needs you to do it if you want to win which is the problem here

"its a party game sybau" this game has an elo rating, is officially supported by nintendo versus, has tournaments and even in a more casual setting, the viable strategy should never be to purposefully throw and hang around the back because thats boring and not fun

imagine if in mario party you had to purposefully throw the minigames because being last gives stronger bonuses later down the line

i agree i think it has one of the most interesting movement and skill ceiling but it just gets nullified bc of how strong items are
