What I find ironic is Geoff's actually speaking up for the interests of punters against the corporate gambling companies whilst the BHA is supporting the corporate gambling companies and the retention and betting shops. We are living in strange times.

Well said Geoff. We are seemingly at a stage where Big Gambling is happy to go along with these requirements as it cleanses their business model by enabling them to f*ck off winning sports punters under the guise of affordability / responsible gambling and focus on high margin acca bettors or slot addicts. How many occasions do we see the request for bank statements / proof of funds AFTER someone has had a decent win? Something expressly forbidden by the GC. Yet what does the GC ever do about it? These are not isolated cases and it is behaviour that would never be allowed in any other industry, but because it’s gambling a blind eye is turned. Every time.

The Gambling commission are not interested in consumer affairs. They are advocating a separate ombudsman to deal with matters they should be dealing with themselves under their fairness code This is why they have such a appalling trustpilot rating

So true again GB, let’s draw a line under the past, (with all those you mention,) I’ll open accounts when home from hols, not looking to win fortunes. Let me know chaps, ?

Good vid but unfortunately no one wants to listen, the latest I have seen happening on hills and 365 is you put something in the basket to add to with other bets for a multi the moment you try to bet the odds have reduced but still The sam if you go back to the market

Well said Geoff. Often wondered who the safer firms were to bet with, where you don't hv to worry about being paid or being quickly restricted. I've not bet online for 10 years due to that lack of trust.

Spot on again Geoff. Staggering that any self-respecting regulator would allow these practices to occur in plain sight. No protection at all for the customer, unless of course @GamRegGB can monetise any given situation for their own gain and those that feed at their trough 🐽
