On July 27, 2025, during the Gijón Air Festival in Spain, a Spanish Air Force EF-18 suddenly rolled toward the sea as the pilot reacted to a flock of birds in its flight path. At that altitude and speed, there was virtually no time to react. Skill, training, and split-second decision-making made all the difference.

Vernon talking about this video from 2018 😆 Q: V8 is the name of your unit and your album. How did you come up with that? 🐻‍❄️ : That's actually quite far back. About ten years ago we were in an arcade with some other SEVENTEEN members. We split into teams to play different games, and The 8 and I competed under that team name. I still remember how the other teams made fun of us because the name sounds like an American tomato juice brand. When it came to giving this project a name, this name came to our thing again - and somehow it fit perfectly with our sound.
