Feels like a trap draw pod. Anyone you can interview for that?

Does this explain NBC’s commercial load during the Ryder Cup last year?

Great listen Soly. Interested to hear about how the change to for-profit might change this as well as the tie in to the existing tour structure.

Shout out to this episode. As my own marketing agency and golf lover… I was way more excited about this episode than I should have been! Loved it!

What are the dangers - if any - on content for golf media companies such as yours as bigger brand sponsorship comes in? It obviously enables larger projects and as a viewer their presence doesn’t appear too intrusive. Is it easy to maintain the freedom you want over content?

I can’t figure out if NLU legit wants to inform people of this or it’s a PR mission handed to them from the tour. Over the last year the lines are started to blur and they feel more corporatized. Just my opinion but I’ve been listening and watching to them since the beginning

Then you have not been listening or watching very closely. At all.

@jaymontracker Then criticize the tour Soly… call out the things they’ve done. Use names, numbers, data, and most importantly directly place blame. This is what you make it sound like you do, but what you actually do is sprinkle in occasional criticisms on commercial load..

@jaymontracker This is parody right

@jaymontracker From what I’ve seen your colleagues offer direct criticisms of specific people.. and often you push back, sympathize, or pivot. How’s this: Should all who were involved at the PGA Tour in weaponizing 9/11 victims against LIV Golf only to later seek to merge with them resign?

No Laying Up's profile picture

@jaymontracker That was a horrible move, I said it was a horrible move when they said that, not just when they completely flipped. So that's an awful example. I take an endless amount of shit for being too critical and negative, which is why this all seems like parody to me.

@jaymontracker It still feels like saying it’s a horrible move is as far as you’ll go.. can you publicly call for their resignations, or explain why you disagree Let’s be 100% clear here. They shamelessly exploited the pain of a national tragedy for their business interests.

Go back and listen if you're going to be like this. In a time of turmoil, it was more complicated than "everyone should resign." More uncertainty could have led to more people leaving. And I've 100% said there should be a change in leadership. It's not my job to "publicly call for their resignations" (LOL)

Guys this was a huge departure from your usual format but I really got the sense of the research and fact checking that went into it. It’s an excellent piece of work.
