Power Thrust REALLY lets you clutch last hit scenarios. Gnw can't normally land with aerials in PT range or else he dies at like 90% near the ledge. Footstool PT denies him of these falling nair combos (if he falls on top of you without autocanceling it)

en vrai faut pas oublier que le dair de sf tue à 120-130 à ledge, je dis pas que c game changer mais tu peux en tirer partie en ledge trap surtout vu comment l'option est forte

Retreating shuriken is a really safe way to safely fish for a kill IF you had power thrust. Grabbing to rack up damage for like a 130 up tilt kill is also a pretty good play here since you had max rage

Do not run that down b, instead use the falcon kick, move backwards a lot and if they whiff a move use it, if they just jump without throwing a move you can position yourself and cover the landing, combine it with shuriken and also gaw has problems approaching from the ground

Yeah but I think it's worth the sacrifice, it gives you a better neutral and advantage, at least for me it made the mu easier but maybe at top level things are different, I'd recommend giving it a chance still

For characters like gnw have you tried running stone scabbard with power thrust? Stone scabbard could help with you edge guarding/pressure while also letting you recover even if he hits chef. Then PT can help you kill at high percents when u just gotta play patient with SOL

Edgueguarding gnw is impossible ngl Idm being offstage because my sideb is broken I dont get edguegard, and I NEED the reflect to not get juggled I dont think any moveset change would help

Thats fair, i dont play that mu lol so youd know more than me. I just had a friend that ran that moveset so I was wondering if it would even be a good idea or not.

I think it would be easier to shoot them down if we used downB as a counter. But the GNW is so small that it's hard to hit it—it's really tough 😵‍💫

You could have footstool power thrust if you had it available but usually idk lmfao
