Nuclear is the cleanest form of energy. Considering all the electric cars and data centers in our future, we need to be building several of these plants in the coming years to keep up.

Even with nuclear power, the ultimate goal is to produce steam to run turbines connected to generators.

It's just advanced boiling water. Most people are unaware of this fact.

"How do humans generate electricity?" Boiling water, most of our electricity generation strategies boil down (ha!) to boiling water to make steam spin a turbine In wind farms, however, we have wind spin the turbine directly HAHAHAHA

All of this just to get wasted by me leaving my lights on

The cleanest and most efficient way to produce electricity, by far.

So a nuclear reactor is fundamentally a steam engine @grok

The particle hitting the uranium-235 atom is called “neutron” and for those asking where it came from…

They're literally magic rocks that stay hot for years Could probably make a nice little personal hand warmer with a little chunk and the right shielding material

If nuclear fuel rods melt at around 2000°C Why dont those "nuclear engineers" use encapsulators that melt at around 3400°C???????

Cant wait to see creative ways in the future to boil water to generate power.

In the far future, our most reliable power generation is probably still boiling liquid, probably still water too 😂
