Dentist here. From one of two reasons 1. Complete neglect then the bacteria eat sugar form acid weakening your teeth burrow in and destroy the 2. Drug use, constricts blood flow to teeth and they rot out ( meth mouth) Either way brush and floss your teeth! 🦷

It's not drugs. It's a genetic condition

Not everyone's dental issues are automatically due to drugs, damn. I've always had great teeth. As an adult, I developed severe asthma. All of the meds I take contain steroids, which are horrible for your teeth & bones. It could be anything! It sucks ppl jump straight to "drugs".

All this is false. You can have a genetic defect that causes this.

No dental care for years no brushing flossing or dentist visits Malnutrition – lack of calcium, vitamins (especially D and C) weakens teeth and gums Drug or alcohol use – especially meth, which causes severe decay (“meth mouth”) Chronic dry mouth – saliva protects teeth; without it, decay spreads fast Severe gum disease – gums recede, teeth loosen, rot, or fall out Living in survival conditions – homelessness, captivity, isolation, or poverty Acid exposure – frequent vomiting, acidic drinks, or reflux

All my teeth were ruined during my pregnancies. A mixture of extreme nausea and creating bones for big babies.

When teeth are that bad I'm inclined to think it's a genetic disorder, there are a plethora that could cause it, or something that causes a calcium deficiency/poor calcium handling, if the person isn't a known drug addict for many many years.

Some people just are born with bad teeth.

Just not brushing them, not flossing them, and eating garbage.

Sigh for all the meth comments. I literally had to pull 8 of my own teeth due to an unknown metabolic/autoimmune cause (according to the periodontist I saw). He said that it appeared to be tooth looseness on a metabolic level. I only know of the Hashimoto’s but have been exhibiting symptoms of Raynauds/RA/etc. no definitive except the Hashimoto’s diagnosis so far and severe OA all over. I will tell you that warm salt water rinses are a G-d send!!! If you are ever having issues, do the rinses. It will help keep that red/inflamed irritation down. My dentist said I was the poster child for salt water rinses because by the time I finally got to her it really didn’t look that bad lol. Besides the 8 missing teeth

That looks genetic. My teeth are in bad shape and I’m also in the process of fixing them, but mine was caused by genetics (my dad has the same problem teeth) and osteoporosis from a 30+ year restrictive eating disorder. Not everything is due to drugs. Damn.

Sometimes baby teeth don’t fall out and there’s nothing behind them to grow in, meaning the teeth get pushed in weird directions. Maybe she needed braces as a child and didn’t get them due to cost.

She is pretty young. Probably parental neglect. She wasn't seeing a dentist as a teen probably.

How much time you got? How much sugar do you think she ate? How much soda do you think she drank? How many times do you think she flossed or brushed?

She’s very young to have a mouth in that bad shape, you have to blame the parental unit for not taking her as a child to regular dental appointments, it’s such a shame because she’s a very pretty girl ,she must be living with terrible dental pain. Best advice have all the bad teeth removed and give dentures a go. You will be out of constant pain, you will feel more confident and you can lean to smile .

@OneBadDude_ Coca will do it if you rub it on your gums. General bad hygiene and sometimes diseases that affect bone structure. Most of the time it’s bad hygiene though.

Some people are born with little to zero enamel on both sets of teeth. Very well could be genetic and not drug related
