The best products are well thought and built with intention. It is important to ship quickly and get user feedback but once a direction is established it is paramount to create an all around delightful user experience. Craftsmanship is often an after thought in software development but it’s no secret that the products that win are also the best designed ones.

So not really "design" as much as "functionality" and/or "implementation"... maybe.

A good way is to make the app useful even on a barebones prototype design. Iterate up from there.
