How doctors treat a dislocated knee

This was the face I was pulling watching this vid. Hope that guy is ok

Had no idea this was even possible! 😳

Seeing how they manipulate the knee back into place makes me wince every time.

What about ligaments? Have they torn?

i could never watch someone do that to my leg without passing out

The doctor’s confidence is the only reason I can watch this. If it were me, I’d already be negotiating with my knee.

to check a laesion of the main popliteal artery is of uttermost impotance. footpulses is not enough. there is often an intima laesion in the popliteal artery that leads to thrombosis and potential loss of the limb below knee. Whatch out. it is not done with reducing dislocation

Like popping a kink in a plastic bottle...who knew?
