Le condensateur permanent vient déphaser les enroulements et permet une rotation du rotor. Pourtant il n’y a qu’une seule phase. Les moteurs asynchrones triphasés n’ont pas besoin de condensateur puisque les trois phases permettent la rotation immédiate.
